Lots more to do!

It's a lovely time of the year and the bonus .....glorious rain!

love the moment, and the energy of that moment will spread beyand all boundaries.

My Staircase.

The handrails are staggered instead of a solid one.

I light little tealights all the way up when I have a dinner party.

Rose detail of the handrail.
I hope you enjoy.

Food for my Soul! #3

We are all in this life together.

To do what we can to help others, to understand others and to love..

but not without losing our sanity in the process.

We have responsibilities to others if we have the opportunity.

The responsibility to help, to nurture,

but we also have the responsibility to ourselves to know when it's enough.

The really frightening thing about middle age is that you know you will grow out of it! Anon

A Fresh Loaf!

I woke up this morning to yet another day of the dreaded drought! When is it going to rain!!
And as if this isn't bad enough, we are still experiencing the most dreadful winds!
I thought it would be a good day to attempt bread making. I have been reading so many beautiful blogs where the most awesome loaves have been shared such as Ann T breads on the most exquisite handmade bread boards! So, here goes my first attempt.

A basic white bread recipe....from stage 1 to .......

after 2 hours in a warm place, it had doubled in size.....

I baked it in the oven at 200 degrees for 40 mins....and this was the end result! I'm thrilled.

I like it from all sides!
